Our Staff
Kyna Stephens
Co-Owner, Professional Archer and Expert Technician
Kyna began her archery career with LEA and quickly ascended to the top of the sport, claiming numerous titles including 2019 Texas ASA High School Female Shooter of the Year and State Champion, the 2020 Hoyt Pro-Am High School Female Champion, and back to back Texas ASA Women’s Known 50 State Championships. Kyna went pro in 2023, competing in the ASA Women’s Known Pro division for 3D and NFAA Women’s Pro for indoor archery. She most recently finished in the bronze position on the podium at the 2024 Black Eagle Darton Pro/Am. Kyna is an accomplished hunter as well. Growing up on large, intensively-managed South Texas ranches, she has harvested well over 100 animals with firearms and bows, including a Mouflon ram that ranks in the top 5 SCI archery sheep and a 191″ Whitetail. Kyna is a USA Archery Level 2 Instructor with a passion for helping kids and adults hone their skills.
After apprenticing at the shop since 2018, the opportunity arose for Kyna to purchase LEA with her parents, Tye and Cynthia. She is a skilled technician, specializing in custom arrow builds and tuning equipment to peak performance. Her drive and work ethic has helped her rise to the top of the sport, and is evident from the moment you walk in the door. Her goal is to involve as many people as possible in archery and help them achieve their goals.
Caleb Reece
Expert Technician, Sales Representative
Caleb is a third generation bow-hunter with a love for the outdoors and nature. He has been shooting for over 22 years, basically since he could hold a bow up. His patient nature, coupled with his passion for archery, helps him excel at tuning bows and instructing others in safe, strategic, and best practices for ethical bow hunting. In Caleb’s own words, “Being in the great outdoors has always been the place I feel closest to God. Inspired by His handiwork and design, and commited to being an ethical caretaker of His creations, I practice often to ensure the best accuracy possible during a hunt. I continue to grow and learn each day more about the world of archery and I am ready and eager to share my knowledge to help others improve upon their skillsets.” His faith and character make him a great addition to the culture and atmosphere we strive to create at Leading Edge Archery.

An Iowa native, he began his career dominating the world archery stage, highlighted by an Individual Gold in the 2011 World Archery Youth Championships, 2 World Cup Finals Individual Golds, and 3 Individual Golds in World Indoor Archery. Bridger spent his time in the woods hunting big Whitetails from treestands, and still makes an annual pilgrimage from Texas to the Mid West to chase them whenever he gets the chance. He has a knowledge of archery equipment that few can match, and is a highly skilled string technician, making him an invaluable resource for us as a part-time bow and string tech.
